After a successful 10-month residency, The Good Front Room at Palm Court closed its doors on 24 April 2024. Originally aired on Channel 4 in June 2023 and subsequently on Netflix in July 2024, Chef Dom Taylor was crowned winner of Five Star Kitchen with his highly praised Caribbean cuisine. The Good Front Room received critical acclaim, an extended run, and sold-out services.
Palm Court remains open, offering breakfast, The Langham’s celebrated afternoon tea, and a new dinner concept, Chez Roux, by Chef Michel Roux.
Chef Dom was crowned winner of Channel 4 and Netflix show, Five Star Kitchen: Britain's Next Great Chef, in the grand finale judged by The Langham, London's Culinary Director and two-star Michelin Chef, Michel Roux Jr. , thus now launching his first ever restaurant at the iconic Palm Court.

Chez Roux draws its inspiration from Chef Michel's cherished memories of his upbringing: life in rural Kent in the 1960s, growing up at the Fairlawne estate where his father Albert Roux OBE worked as a private chef for the Cazalet family, and the first menus from Le Gavroche in 1967.
